If you deleted your memory card by accident do not take any more pictures.  You can recover any deleted photos as long as you do not take more pictures on top of the old ones.


When you delete or format the memory card the photos are never really deleted the space is just marked available for writing. So as long as you have not overwritten this space with new photos you can get them back.


When I ran into this problem on vacation last year I searched the internet for a good photo recovery software.  After trying several programs I found Stellar Photo Recovery to be the best and easiest to use.


When you scan your card with Stellar it can take up to 30 minutes for an 8 gig memory card. Be patient with the scan as it locates all the deleted images on the memory card.


To Get Back Your Deleted Photos From Memory Card Follow These Three Steps:

Step 1: Download and Install Stellar Photo Recovery


Step 2: Plug in your card or camera to the computer.  Click Start Scan. Choose the removable media where your card is click Start Scan Again. It took me around 30 minutes to scan an 8 Gig card so be patient.



Step 3: Preview and select the files for recovery. Click the recover button
